LADY DIOR

Okay so my eBaying addiction is getting out of hand and iv finally ran out of things to sell, apart from this baby!
My faux Dior 'Lady' bag as seen on The Blonde Salad here.
I've never got around it using it so the item is still brand new and never been used, and I personally think its a really good copy with its soft leather, engraved 'CD' on the handles and of course the handing pendants. I'm selling the bag for £45 inc p&p but am open to any other offers.

If your interested in the item please email me at daisylvbrown@googlemail.com for any extra information or pictures :)

DETAILS

Totally underestimated the weather when I got dressed this morning as it was an ultimate scorcher; but then yet again I did want to show off my recent purchase and lust of life.. my raspberry 'Jamie' jeans from Topshop! Yes I know I should be saving but there were an actual necessity okay, and for the bargain price of £25 reduced from £40 how could you resist?!
They fit like an actual dream - hugging all the right places and ending at just the right length, definitely my favourite style from Tosphops denim collection.
Today I teamed them with a black glittered cold-shoulder tee and my trusty studded slippers, the majority of which was spent outside complaining about how bloody hot I was in jeans, oopsies!

GUEST POST

I was recently contacted by Jackie Clark from the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance and asked if I would be interested in featuring this guest post on my blog, and with cancer taking so many lives every year I felt it was important to spread awareness, especially for rare times of cancer such as Mesothelioma.

Please take a moment out of your day to read Jackie's words...
It is widely believed that women have an overwhelming need to feel beautiful, no matter the situation. The power of beauty, even self-perceived beauty, is something that mystifies people; however, it is there and there is no denying the fact that women need to feel beautiful, no matter what. Feeling beautiful is one of the biggest factors in confidence. Women that feel beautiful feel confident and powerful, as if they can accomplish anything. Nothing gets in the way of a beautiful, confident and powerful woman because she won’t let it.

There is no time more important for a woman to feel confident and powerful than when she has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, such as mesothelioma cancer. When she starts undergoing treatment for her cancer, she will need her confidence and feelings of power to help her fight the disease and to handle her treatments with the best possible attitude imaginable. There is no better way for a woman to feel confident and beautiful in her own skin to spite her cancer diagnosis than high fashion. There is something about the beautiful material, the perfect craftsmanship and the beautiful designer labels that come with high fashion. Women everywhere fall in love with high fashion, whether they can afford it or not.

When a woman wants to feel beautiful, using high fashion to do it is always a good option. There is nothing better than an amazing pair of high fashion shoes, a gorgeous designer dress or a perfect pair of jeans that fit just right. Fashion won’t cure cancer. Feeling beautiful and confident and powerful won’t cure cancer; but it will make a woman feel much better about herself and therefore her quality of life will improve and her outlook on her treatment will improve, which will make her more likely to accept her treatment in a positive manner.

To make a woman feel beautiful, it really only takes finding something that she loves; and one of the most amazing pieces of fashion that a woman could ever come across is a pair of shoes. The perfect pair of shoes can do wonders for a woman; it can turn a boring, old dress into a high fashion statement and it can make a woman feel like a million dollars when she slips them on her feet. Suddenly her legs will look longer and sexier and she will feel her confidence level go up a notch – or several. Add to that a gorgeous new dress or pants and any woman is bound to feel more beautiful that she has throughout the course of her entire life; even if she does have cancer and a long battle ahead of her.

OBSESSIONS

Im not a beauty blogger and I dont even know much about make-up, never mind the vast amounts of lotions and potions I probably should be using. But one thing I do know is a good fake tan when I use one and at the moment this is my ultimate fave - Palmers Natual Bronze Cocoa ButterThe mother discovered this one a while ago but I was too obsessed with my MakeBelieve and Vita Liberata products to try it, until I did a massive beauty haul before coming back to university in January and thought what the heck iv already spent £40, another £5 wont hurt.
Since then its been my new ultimate favourite, obviously for nights out I need to apply an extra helping of instant tan but for the general day to day wear I think its perfect, providing me with a healthy glow and keeping my skin oh so smooth. I tend to apply it every night before bed-time, therefore I don't feel too sticky during the day.

DETAILS

Miss Selfridge headband (worn as necklace) //  Topshop blouse

My new favourite thing to do at the moment is to wear necklaces with done up collars. I wore this ensemble to work on Saturday with my black American Apparel circle skirt, black tights, and my little Topshop studded slipper shoes and then carried it on through to the night for drinks on Osbourne Road with the girls. Iv also worn this necklace (actually Phoebes headband oops) with a done up denim shirt, paired with leather leggings which was a personal favourite also.

SNEAKERS

After much deliberating and what felt like three hours spent in Schuh I finally succumbed to the Converse hype and bought the navy low-top's. Since then I seem to have replaced my beloved Nike Hi-Tops and not had these off my feet, currently trying to think of some way to style them up in order to wear them for work, any suggestions?

WISH LISTS

Since starting my new job at Topshop iv started piling up quite a hefty wishlist of their new summer collections.
To be honest I wasn't Topshop's biggest fan over winter, I think the only thing I bought from there was a forrest green hoodie (very adventurous purchase, I know!) saving all my money for my new faves H&M and Zara, so I must say I think their summer collection is a lot stronger.
These are my favourite things at the moment, literally pining for the aqua acid wash jeans, the white cut out summer dress and the white faux leather gilet but unfortunately I'm on a big save up for summer due to mine and the boyfriends plans for travelling around Europe in August. Looks like the only things ill be buying are backpacks and hostels.

NEW JOB

Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know my last job was at the fast-food chain KFC (yes, I did get free chicken..) so this new position is a lot more glamorous if I do say so myself! I am now a concession manager of Oh my Love at Topshop and I'm genuinely really enjoying the new role so far. However it is pointing out a major flaw in my wardrobe - hardly anything is from Topshop! Which makes dressing for work a bit of an issue, thank god I live with three girls with amazing wardrobes.
