Just got back from a weekend in Edinburgh with the besties to celebrate Phoebe turning 21.

Was actually an amazing weekend, after arriving at Edinburgh we went for a look around the city, yet mostly the shops in which I ended up buying my new favourite item aka my angora hat from Zara. I saw it on the website about a week ago and quickly added it to my wishlist. Its so soft and keeps my head nice and cosy, especially in the arctic temperatures of Newcastle.

We then went for dinner at a lovely little restaurant named Candy where we ate steak and drank lovely cocktails, followed by one of the best nights out iv had in a long time.

However, I must say i'm very glad to be snuggled up in my quilt back home to deal with this mega hangover!!

Vogue Japan

Whilst researching information for one of my university projects today I came across this editorial from Vogue Japan which I really love. I'm not really a fan of British Vogue (bit controversial but its just not for me, I'm more of an Elle gal I'm afraid) but after finding out that Anna Dello Russo is the editor-in-chief of the Japanese version of the publication I am quite tempted to get a hold of one.

Winter is very fast approaching and I have my eye on a few coats already even though I actually cannot afford one. These are my top 3 choices from Topshop, in particular the oxblood mini duffel coat.


On a more personal note..
I am back in Newcastle now to attend my second year on university. It feels very good to be back and living with the besties, although I am missing the boyfriend and besties from home. Currently spending my days keeping on top of the mountains of work I already have and trying to get myself a job.
Next weekend will be spend in Edinburgh for the bestie Phoebes 21st birthday celebrations and iv treated myself to a new dress especially for it which I cant wait to wear.

A few snapshots from my week working at London Fashion Week.
I worked for as a backstage intern for Vauxhall Fashion Scout, my week consisted mainly of working backstage of the shows dressing models and running errands for the models and designers. I also spent alot of my time eating in various cafes and restaurants in Covent Garden.

so, tomorrow i am heading down to london to work backstage london fashion week! 
unfortunately the house i am staying in (courtasy of one of the best friends) does not have internet so i wont be able to blog about my adventures but ill keep you updated via my twitter feed @daisylvb
i must say i was very excited slash nervous as this will be my first time in london alone!!!

AMBUSH

so i thought id share with you all my new babies - topshops 'ambush boot'. i fell in love with them as soon as i saw them but after yesterdays trip to trafford centre we seem to have fallen out due to the immense pain they caused me. however they did look fly as so i got over it haha
after searching for an image on google, i found out they are infact a cheeky acne snide which has made me love them even more!

so today i went to the trafford centre in manchester with the mother and look what i bought, more bloomin metallics - i really think i might be taking this too far now lol jk ill never have enough. this jumper was an actual bargain at £25 from h&m, i also got the ring im wearing from aldo which seems to have unreal jewellry in at the moment and all very reasonable prices- this badboy was only £6!

a few pictures from last weekend when the uni gals came to leeds.
unfortunately i was a bit worse for wear so there isnt many photos dignified enough to blog about.
the dress im wearing is actually one of the besties which she kindly let me buy off her since it is years old, but with my new metallic i just had to have it!
deffo was a very good night out though and cant wait to be reuinited with all the girls (and fellow bloggers peluxe and snapindex) back in the newcastle woo!

obsessions

i think i am totes turning into a magpie or something cos my latest obsession at the moment seems to be metallic.
went shopping with the mother today and bought a gorgeous silver jumper from h&m, she thought i was mad but i managed to convince her it was cool seen as metallics seem to be everywhere, especially zara.
these items are a mix of high-street and designer pieces, my fave is the silver alexander wang bag with the rabbit tails - i think its amazing!
also debating whether to invest in silver/gold jeans, im thinking there gonna be replacing the coloured trousers everyone was wearing in summer, hmm decisions!
